Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Timeline Visualize mobile application (the “App”), operated by Barbarda (“we”), handles information.

Timeline and location data

The App reads only the Timeline JSON file you explicitly select using the operating system file picker. Parsing, filtering, previewing, and video rendering occur locally on your device. We do not upload, receive, sell, or store your Timeline file, coordinates, routes, or exported videos.

Permissions

The App does not request live location, Google account, contacts, camera, photo library, advertising identifier, or broad storage permission. The operating system share sheet controls any destination you choose for an exported video.

Map tiles

The App requests visible basemap tiles from CARTO, using OpenStreetMap data. CARTO may receive standard network information such as IP address, device request headers, and requested tile coordinates. Your Timeline JSON is not sent with these requests. Review the CARTO Privacy Notice and OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat manages purchase entitlement and restoration. These providers may process transaction identifiers, an app-scoped user identifier, platform/device information, and purchase state. We do not receive payment-card details. Analytics and advertising

The App contains no advertising SDK and no developer-operated analytics or tracking. We do not create user accounts.

Retention and deletion

App-created videos remain in the App’s local documents storage until removed by you or the operating system. Deleting the App removes its local app container according to platform behavior. Because we do not maintain an account or collect Timeline data, there is no server-side location-history record to delete. You may request deletion of your anonymous RevenueCat customer record by emailing support; include the anonymous App User ID shown by support diagnostics if requested, but never send your Timeline file.

Children

The App is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

Material changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
