How do I export Timeline.json?

On Android, open device Settings → Location → Location services → Timeline → Export Timeline data. On iPhone, open Google Maps → profile picture → Settings → Personal content → Export Timeline data. Labels can vary by device and Google Maps version.

Why does my file not open?

Confirm that the selected file is a Google Timeline JSON export rather than an unrelated Takeout file. If the error continues, send the displayed error and a small synthetic or redacted sample to support.

Why does the App access the internet?

Your JSON is processed locally. Internet access is used only to load visible CARTO map tiles and to check or complete purchases through RevenueCat and your platform store.

How does Full work?

Full is a permanent one-time purchase. Free can export any journey inside the latest 90 days at 720p with a watermark; Full unlocks every older date, 1080p, and watermark removal. It is not a subscription.

How do I restore Full?

Open the Full purchase sheet and tap “Restore Purchase” while signed into the same Apple App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase.

Where is my exported video?

The App keeps the generated MP4 in local app storage, lists it under Timeline Visualize History, and opens the system share sheet so you can save or send it to a destination you choose.
